Over the past few years, Physicians Choice Home Health Care has worked on developing a special program for total hip and knee patients, which has benefitted over 500 joint replacement patients.

Our physical therapists and occupational therapists average over 15 years of home health experience. We work closely with the surgeons to develop specific protocols so that patient care and recovery is maximized.

Mobile Protime devices enable management of medication levels with a simple finger prick instead of blood draws and lab work.

Specially trained staff assist our hip/knee patients with transfers, incision wound care, patient education, and communication with the surgeon.

Physical therapy is one of the most critical components of rehabilitation. Joint mobility and strength are addressed as well as getting around the home, using assistive devices, and walking aids, symptom control, balance, and endurance.
